Rollin "Johnny" Davis, 78, Shively, Ky., son of the late Samuel Scott Davis and Rachel Adline Russell Davis, was born April 19,1916, in Green County and died Tuesday, Sept 25 [1994] at Summerfield Manor Nursing Home in Louisville. He was of the Separate Baptist faith and a retired employee of Brown & Williamson after 26 years. He was also a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM and the International Association of Machinist & Aerospace Waters. He was married to Vera Moran on Oct. 14, 1939, who survives; two sons, Rollin D. Davis of Waycross, Ga, and Stanley S. Davis of Louisville; one brother, Boyce Davis of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Tanna Mosier and Debra Damell, both of Indiana, and Wendy L. Davis and Stephen S. Davis, both of Louisville; three great grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. Funeral was at 10 am., Friday, Sept 28 at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, Greensburg, with burial in the Oak Grove of the Nolin Association Cemetery. The Rev. Twyman Davis and the Rev. Eudell Stilts officiated. Masonic Rites were at 6 pm. Thursday, Sept 27 at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Chester G. Davis, Scottie Davis, Claudie Atwell, Fred Moran, Adrain Davis, Robert Davis and Winfred Simpson.
