A funeral for Alfred Larson, 79, Princeton, who died Feb. 14 in Princeton, was held Feb. 18 at the Kaun Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Lafer officiating.
Pallbearers were Larry Wilhelm, Dennis DeJong, Roland Norman, William Peterson, Willard Herwald and Harold Anderson. Burial was in Oak Knoll Cemetery.
Larson was born August 8, 1893 at Colman, S.D., to Jens and Gertrude Larson. On June 30, 1922 in Brookings, S.D. he married Margret Oney. They farmed in South Dakota until 1932 when they moved to Fergus Falls and then to Pelican Rapid. They then lived in Minneapolis for 12 years and moved to Wyanette for approximately 10 years. They moved to Princeton 5 years ago.
Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Lawrence, St. Cloud; three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Stamper, Milwaukee, Wisc., Mrs. Elaine Swagger, Anoka, Mrs. Helen Lakeman, Minneapolis, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grand children.
