It was with a deep feeling of regret that friends learned of the death of Mrs. Jens Larson which occurred at the family residence in Fremont Township at 5:30 o'clock Tuesday morning.
Mrs. Larson was one of the highly respected women of that community and one who won the loft estimation of her friends and neighbors by the kindly manner in which she treated everyone. Her passing is not only a severe blow to the immediate family, but her passing will be sincerely mourned by a host of friends.
Mrs. Larson was born in Norway on August 13, 1852 and she came to this country when but a mere girl. In 1876 she was married to Jens Larson, and for more than 40 years they have been residents of Moody County.
Mrs. Larson is survived by her husband and 7 children: Lewis J. of Douglas, North Dakota; Mrs. A.L. Kragness of Douglas, North Dakota; Henry J. of Bond, S.D.; Ben G. of Bond, S.D.; Mrs. Dena Doyle of Flandreau and Carl J. and Alfred Larson of Colman.
Funeral services will be conducted this forenoon at the home in Fremont Township, Rev. J.A. Blilie being in charge of the service.
