Regina Palivec was born Jul 24, 1908 in Drahlín, Austria-Hungary, now Czech Republic. On Mar 20, 1913, she departed Bremen, Germany for the USA on the ship Chemnitz, a part of the North German Lloyd Line. She travelled in 2nd Cabin accomodations. Regina arrived in Philadelphia with her parents and 7 siblings on April 4, 1913 at the age of 4.

Listed in 1920 Census, Cuyahoga County, Cleveland, OH, age 11, as Virginia, with her father, John, age 49, foundry watchman, with her mother, Anna, 49, her brothers Frank, 18, sewing machine clerk, Joseph, 16, department store stockboy, and sisters, Bertha, 9, and Mildred, 8. All immigrated 1913. Lived at 12906 Union Avenue. Also living there was her widowed sister, Toney (Antonie) Yaminik, 29 (27), and Toney's son Charley Hantl, 4, as well as another sister Anna Wojnarowski, 23 (21), immigrated 1908, her husband Tom, 34, Polish, machinist, immigrated 1892, and their daughter Anna, 9 months.

At age 35, she married William Pelsnik on Apr 17, 1928.

Listed in the 1930 Census, 12906 Union Ave, Cleveland, OH, age 21, with her husband William Pelsnik, 25, born in Ohio, and an assembler of stoves. She and William lived with her father, John, age 68, not employed, her mother, Anna, 58, and her sister Mildred, 18, single, All (except William) immigrated in 1913 and had not naturalized.

Listed as Regina Pelsnik when she naturalized as a U.S. Citizen on Sep 30, 1932. Lived at 12906 Union Ave, Cleveland, OH.

Listed in 1940 Census, Cuyahoga County, Bedford, OH, age 31, on Broadway Rd, with husband William J., 35, and daughter Eileen, 7. William and Eileen born in Ohio. Regina born in Czechoslovakia. William worked as an assembler of stoves. Lived in Bedford in 1935.

Named as Regina Eileen Pelsnik on husband's 1940 Draft Registration Card.

Regina died Aug 8, 1956, at the age of 48. She was buried in Calvary Cemetery, Section 77, Lot 934, Cleveland, OH. Mass Card by Faulbaber Funeral Home.
