TRUMAN DUNLAP
Longtime Barber
Parkside.Truman Dunlap,63, of 2829 Edgemont Ave.died at the University
of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia,Saturday following a long illness.
Mr. Dunlap was the son of the late Charles and Mary Dunlap.He was born near the Chester area and lived here all of his life.Mr Dunlap was the husband of the late Catherine Gallagher Dunlap.
He was employed by several barber shops and for the last twenty- five years,operated his own shop in the 2800 block of Edgemont Avenue.
He was a member of the Master Barbers Association
of America and Parkside Fire Company.
Mr. Dunlap is survived by a son, Truman Jr.of Broomall,a grandaughter,three sisters and three brothers.Mrs. Eva Hobbs and William of Easton,Md.,Mrs. Elizabeth Ruby of Woodlyn, Mrs. Emma McKee of Florida,Arthur of Eddystone and Charles of Media.
Funeral services will be Wednesday,at 2 p.m. From the Edward E Bateman Funeral Home,5 E. Elbon Rd.Rev. Roger Steiner,pastor of the Parkside Methodist Church will officiate.Burial will be in Middletown Presbyterian Church Cemetery.Friends may call tomorrow evening at the

**Truman was also predeceased by three week old infant daughter who died a couple of hours after her mother in 1919 and an older brother, Samuel Stott Dunlap who died in 1950.
