Arthur W. Dunlap, 79, Eddystone, former custodian of Eddystone High School for 28 years, died at home yesterday after a three month illness.
Born in Chester on 11 April 1879, Mr. Dunlap had lived in Eddystone for 48 years. He worked at several places the last of which was the Eddystone Manufacturing Co. before taking the school job. He retired 4 years ago.
Mr. Dunlap was a member of the Eddystone Fire Co.
Surviving are his wife, Mary E. Dunlap, a daughter, Mrs. John Desmond, whose husband is President of the Eddystone Council. Two sons; Arthur C. of Eddystone and George T. of Mayfair. Seven grandchildren; two brothers, William of Easton, Md. and Charles B of Media; three sisters, Mrs Eva Hobbs of Florida, Mrs Emma McKee of Eustis Fla. and Mrs Elizabeth Ruby of Woodlyn.
Services will be Thursday at 10 A.M. from his home. Friends may call tomorrow night at the home.
