She was born 18 Dec 1885 in Chester,Pa. and died on 14 Nov 1974 at the VA hospital in Dublin,Georgia. She graduated from the J Lewis Crozer Nursing School of Nursing in Upland,Pa. in 1909. Eva served in the US Navy from 1914 to 1925 as a Navy nurse and was a WW1 veteran.

Mrs. Eva Ruth Dunlap Hobbs of Tifton,Georgia,died Thursday in the VA Hospital in Dublin.
Funeral Services will be held in Golden Funeral Home, Bastrop,La.,with burial to be held in Christ Church Cemetery.A date and time will be announced by Tiftarea Home for
Funerals which is in charge of local arrangements.
Born December 18,1885 in Chester, Pa.,Mrs. Hobbs,a former Navy nurse,was the daughter of the late Charles Brooke and Mary Anne Fullerton Stott Dunlap.
She was the widow of Lawrence Hobbs,who died in 1937 and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Hobbs was graduated from J Lewis Crozer Homeopathic Nursing School,Upland, Pa. In 1909 and served in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps from 1914-1925.
She had lived in Tift County three and a half years.
Survivors include a son, Alan Hobbs of Tifton and two sisters,Mrs. Emma McKee of Eustis, Florida and Mrs. Elizabeth Ruby of Lionville, Pa.
