In 1880 she lived with her parents and seven brothers and sisters in Millerstown (now Chicora), PA. Her father and brother William were laborers.

In 1900 she lived with her parents, sisters Ella and Euphemia and brother John on a farm they were renting in Fairview Township, Butler County, PA. Her father was a farmer, she was a pants maker, Ella was a milliner, and John was a pumper of oil wells.

Miss Nina Minteer of Chicora died at a Pittsburgh hospital Monday.
