Services Held This Morning.
Burial Made In Glenwood Cemetery, Yazoo City.
Funeral services for Henry Y. Caruthers who died Tuesday night after several weeks illness were held at Wilson and Knight Funeral Chapel this morning at 10 o'clock conducted by Rev. John B. Dickson. Burial was made in Glenwood Cemetery at Yazoo City with Wilson and Knight in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Caruthers was born in Ya zoo City but had made his home in Greenwood for 26 years where he was engaged in the mercantile and dry goods business. At the time of his death he was a valued employee of Antoon Dry Goods Co.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eddie Johnson Caruthers and the following children: Edgar Caruthers, Clifton Caruthers, Jack Caruthers, Billy Caruthers and Mrs. Ann Boland, all of Greenwood.
Pallbearers were David Brewer, Scott Dulin, W. C. Rabb, Otho Woods, Dewey Antoon, Ed Antoon, Tom Young, W. G. Stuart.
