Passed Away In Cincinnati-Will Be Brought Here For Burial
News reached Yazoo City of the death this morning of Jessie Caruthers, a former resident of Yazoo. Mr. Caruthers died in Cincinnati, O., last night, where he and his wife have made their home for several months.
His remains will be shipped here for burial, probably arriving Saturday afternoon. No arrangements have been made as yet for the funeral.
Mr. Caruthers was 48 years old, the son of the late Mrs. Emma and Jesse Caruthers. He was born and reared here and for years was connected with C. A. Lightcap as a salesman.
He was married about five years ago.
Mr. Caruthers is survived by his wife, one brother, Henry Caruthers, of Greenwood, his aunt, Mrs. V. E. Caruthers, of this city, and to them is extended the sympathy of friends.
