Mrs. John Gritters, 82, Sioux Center, died Monday, Feb. 12, at the Sioux Center hospital.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. John Piersma officiated. Burial was in Hope Cemetery in Hull under the direction of the Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gritters, the former Bessie Vander Berg, was born May 22, 1896, in Le Mars. She was married Feb. 24, 1920, in Perkins. They lived in rural Hull until Mr. Gritters death in 1947, when she moved to Sioux Center.
Survivors include one son, John E. of Hull; one daughter, Miss Ellen of Sioux Center; one brother, Dick E. of Sioux Center; one sister, Mrs. Dan Dykstra of Trosky, Minn, and six grandchildren.
