Funeral Services Held Monday for Tena Vander Berg

Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed church here at 1:30 p.m. Monday November 25, for Miss Tena Vander Berg, 75, Sioux Center resident, who died Saturday morning at the home of Dr. and Mrs. E. Vander Berg in Holland, Mich., following a lingering illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. B. J. Haan and burial was made in the Sioux Center Community cemetery under the direction of the Co-operative Funeral Service of Sioux Center.

Miss Vander Berg was born in Le Mars, Iowa, January 26, 1888, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Epke Vander Berg. She moved to Sioux Center with her family at the age of 15.

Survivors include three sisters, Etta (Mrs. Fred Aue), Bess (Mrs John Gritters) of Sioux Center, and Elsie (Mrs. Dan Dykstra) of Trosky, Minn.; four brothers, John, Douwe and Dick, all of Sioux Center, and Dr. Edwin of Holland Mich.

One sister, Ida (Mrs. Peter B. Baartman) preceded her in death.
