Nannie Mae Higdon, 95, of Wellington Parc, Owensboro, died there Wednesday, February 20, 2002. She was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on March 6, 1906 the daughter of Charles and Jennie Coomes Mattingly.

Mrs. Higdon retired from Glenmore Distillery after 41 years of service and enjoyed sewing. She was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral and Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Chi Ro Chapter.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth “Betty” Walker of Liverpool, NY; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
