Harriett married Paul Duffy at the ripe old age of 15. They were married for 53 years until his death in 1988. She loved animals and children and had a passion for helping the poor and needy.
She spent many years working for her dad's brother; however, she was most proud of her achievements as a full time mother and homemaker. She and Paul united with Westside Baptist Church of Fontana about 30 years ago and were faithful to their commitment to the Lord and their Church as long as their health would allow. Harriett worked with the children's Ministry along side of her husband Paul who was a Deacon. The last years of her life were spent at Waterman Convalescent in San Bernardino.
Harriett was preceded in death by her husband Paul Duffy and has left to mourn her passing, one sister Elizabeth Fee of New Castle, Pennsylvania, two sons and two daughters, Joan Hernandez of Black Canyon City, Arizon; Richard Duffy of Hesperia, California; John Duffy of Hemet, California and Judith McLinn of San Bernardino, California; seven grandchildren, Lori Martin, Dawn Hernandez, John McLinn, Richard Duffy Jr., Paula Hernandez, Frank Duffy and Robert Duffy; thirteen great grand children and two great great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
