Harrison Hartzell, 76, of 1711 Hart St. died at 10:55 a.m. May 4, 1984, in Jamison Memorial Hospital.
He was born in New Castle on Dec. 29, 1907, to John and Elizabeth Knight Hartzell.
He married the former Annabelle Myers on Dec. 12, 1935.
He was retired from Shenango China where he was kiln placer for 45 years.
Mr. Hartzell attended the First Alliance Church. He was a member of the Bessemer Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Fee of New Castle; Mrs. Harriet Duffy and Mrs. Mary Lang, both of California; a brother, William Hartzell of New Castle; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Harry in 1973.
Visiting hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry McCauley of First Alliance Church officiating. Interment will be made in Graceland Cemetery.
