Mrs. John Majesky, 64, of 110 Conkle Ave., the former Nettie Hartzell, died at home at 2 a.m. yesterday after an extended illness.
She was born in Lawrence County Dec. 8, 1902, to John and Elizabeth Knight Hartzell. She married John Majesky 44 years ago. Mrs. Majesky was a member of the Wahington C & MA Church.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Sally) Hudson of RD 5; four sisters, Mrs. James (Elizabeth) Fee of New Castle, Mrs. Mary Lang of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Harriett Duffy of Fontana, Calif., Mrs. Margaret Dickerson of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, Harrison and William Hartzell, both of New Castle; three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Majesky was preceded in death by three brothers, Chester, Thomas, and Amos Hartzell.
Friends will be received in the Robert A. Myers Home for Funerals, 208 N. Jefferson St., from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home by Rev. Earl Docherty, pastor of the Washington Union C & MA Church, and Rev. J.G. Allison, pastor of the C & MA Church, Wireton, Pa.
Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Cemetery.
