Mrs. Dorothy Roehrig, 70, of the Calumet Homestead, New Holstein, widow of Oscar, died Thursday of a lingering illness. She had resided at the home since last fall.
A resident of New Holstein for 30 years, she was born in Chilton on Nov. 14, 1901, a daughter of Margaret Petesch Depies. On April 22, 1921 she was married to Mr. Roehrig at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein. Mr. Roehrig died Aug. 8, 1959.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Parish and its Christian Mothers Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John (Rosemary) Oppeneer of Sheboygan and Mrs. Gordon (Virginia) Sternbeck of Appleton; three grandchildren, and five brothers, Arthur of Hilbert, Joseph, Walter and Edgar, all of New Holstein, and Henry of Chilton.
