Oscar J. Roehrig

Oscar J. Roehrig, 63, died suddenly Saturday morning at his home, 2011 Main St., New Holstein.

A native of Sheboygan county, he was born Feb. 12, 1896, at Plymouth, a son of the late Cyrus and Gertrude Nett Roehrig. He attended the Kiel High School. His marriage to Miss Dorothy Depies was solemnized April 22, 1921, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein.

The couple settled in Kiel after their marriage and later moved to New Holstein where Mr. Roehrig was employed as a mechanic at the Depies Seed Mill for the past 14 years. He was a member of Holy Rosary Church and the Holy Name Society of the parish and was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Oppeneer and Mrs. Virginia Sternbeck, both of Sheboygan; two grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Asella Anhalt, Plymouth.
