Mrs. Henry Depies, Sr, 88, of Calumet Homestead, New Holstein, died Wednesday morning at the home following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be Friday at Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral Home, New Holstein, and at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, new Holstein, with the Rev. Lambert D. Scanlan officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Chilton.
She was born August 24, 1874 at Decada, Wis., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Petesch. She was educated at Decada and was married Feb. 12, 1895 to Henry Depies at Decada. The family moved to New Holstein. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Christian Mother Society and Catholic Knights of Wisconsin. Her husband died in 1946.
Among the survivors are five sons, Henry of Chilton, Arthur of Hilbert and Joseph, Walter and Edgar of New Holstein; a daughter, Mrs. Oscar Roehrig of New Holstein; 27 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
