Henry E. Depies age 93 of Chilton died on Sunday March 25, 2007 at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. He was born December 23, 1913 in Chilton son of the late Henry & Margaret (Petsch) Depies. At the age of 1 ½, Henry was moved to New Holstein where he lived and farmed with his father later in his life. He married Hildegard M. Gruber on October 28, 1939 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton. He moved to the Chilton area where he and his wife farmed from 1945 until 1979 when he retired and moved to the City of Chilton. Henry then worked for Foley and the Chilton Metal Products. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, formerly St. Mary Parish, and the National Farmer's Organization. Survivors include his wife of 67 years: Hilde; 5 sons and 2 daughters: Alan (Betty) Depies of St. Cloud, Dale (Mary) Depies of Chilton, Richard (Kathy) Depies of Chilton, Linda (Michael) Bruckner of Chilton, Mark (Natalie) Depies of Fond du Lac, Don (Sue) Depies of New Holstein, Beverly McCasky of Arizona; 22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM on Thursday March 29, 2007 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with the Rev. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 4-8:00 PM on Wednesday March 28, 2007 and on Thursday at the funeral home from 9:30-11:00 AM when family prayers will be held. A parish vigil service will be held at 7:30 PM on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
