PRESTON A. PLOUGHE, 90, Kirklin rt. 2, died at 11:30 a.m. yesterday in the Clinton County Hospital. He had been ill the past three months.

Mr. Ploughe was the trustee of Sugar Creek Township from 1934-1938. He was a farmer and a member of the Hills Baptist Church.

He was born in Clinton County, Aug. 15, 1891, to Thomas E. and Ida A. (McKinney) Ploughe. He married Bessie Mae Douglas Ploughe, March 11, 1911. She died May 10, 1973.

Surviving are five sons, Preston W. of Frankfort rt. 3, Ralph of Sheridan, James of Michigantown rt. 1, Joseph of Logansport, and Dale of Kirklin rt. 1; seven daughters, Lois Boone of Sheridan rt 1, Mabel Sotzing of Greenwood, Vera King of Morgantown, Mary Walker of Sheridan rt. 3, Margie Ploughe Kirklin, Dortha Thompson of Frankfort, rt. 6, and Norma Macis of Buena Park, Calif.; one sister, Louie Donell of Wesley Manor; 32 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

One son, Tom; and a daughter, Verna, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Goodwin Funeral Home. The Rev. Al Buchanan will officiate.

Burial will be in Hills Cemetery, Pickard.
