He was born December 8, 1932 in Clinton County, Indiana. He was the son of Preston Asa and Bessie Mae Douglas Ploughe.
He is survived by three brothers, Preston Wayne (Mary Ellen) Ploughe of Frankfort, James N. (Evelyn) Ploughe of Kirklin, and Dale M. (Arlene) Ploughe of rural Frankfort; and two sisters, Norma Macis of Texas and Dortha Thompson of Brookston.
He was preceded in death by six sisters, Lois Boone, Mabel Sotzing, Vera King, Verna Reddish, Mary Dell Walker and Margie Ploughe; and three brothers, Ralph Douglas Ploughe, Thomas Ray Ploughe, and Harold William (Bill) Ploughe.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort.
