Mary Dell Ploughe Walker, 86, Sheridan, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 in Sheridan Healthcare Center.

She was born October 6, 1922 in Clinton County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Preston Asa and Bessie Mae Douglas Ploughe. On May 14, 1943 she married Eugene Walker in Scircleville, and he preceded her in death on March 25, 2007.

She is survived by two sons, Gail Walker, and Von Walker of rural Sheridan; and one daughter, Janice Walker of rural Sheridan; four brothers, Preston Wayne (Mary Ellen) Ploughe of Frankfort, James N. (Evelyn) Ploughe of Kirklin, Joseph E. Ploughe of Lafayette and Dale M. (Arlene) Ploughe of rural Frankfort; and two sisters, Norma Macis of Texas and Dortha Thompson of Brookston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; five sisters, Lois Boone, Mabel Sotzing, Vera King, Verna Reddish and Margie Ploughe; and three brothers, Ralph Douglas Ploughe, Thomas Ray Ploughe, and William H. Ploughe.

Burial will be in Crown View Cemetery.
