Mabel D. Sotzing 89, died Friday, July 9, 2004 at St. Francis Hospital. She was a resident of Greenwood. She was born November 11, 1914 in Kirklin, Indiana. Her parents were Preston A. and Bessie Mae (Douglas) Ploughe. She married Carl E. Sotzing on January 17, 1942, he preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughter Sandy A. Sotzing, Greenwood; four brothers Preston W. Ploughe, Joseph E. Ploughe, James N. Ploughe, Dale M. Ploughe; three sisters Mary D. Walker, Norma J. Macis, Dortha A. Thompson.

She was preceded in death by three brothers Ralph D. Ploughe, Thomas E. Ploughe, William H. Ploughe and four sisters Lois E. Boone, Vera M. King, Verna Reddish, Margie A. Ploughe; many nieces and nephews. She graduated from Sugar Creek High School. She was employed for 25 years by Foster Engineering Company as a bookkeeper. She attended Greenwood Christian Church and was a member of Hills Baptist Church in Pickard, IN.

Services were entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home of Greenwood, Indiana.
