SGT. THOMAS R. PLOUGHE, 24, of Kirklin route 2, died at the home of a sister, Mrs. Kenneth E. King, Frankfort, at 11:00 a.m., Monday, after an illness of one year.

Born May 15, 1928, he was a son of Preston A. and Bessie Douglas Ploughe.

Other survivors include eight sisters, Mrs. Lois Boone, Sheridan, Mrs. Mabel Sotzing, Indianapolis, Mrs Vera King, of this city, Mrs Verna Reddish, Miami Beach, Florida, Mrs Mary Walker, Lebanon, Mrs. Norma Macis, Chicago, Illinois, Margie and Dortha Ann at home; six brothers, Preston W. Ploughe, Sheridan, William and James in the Armed Forces and Ralph, Joe and Dale at home, also several nephews and nieces; grandfather, Thomas E. Ploughe, Scircleville; grandmother, Della Douglas, Indianapolis and several uncles and aunts.

Funeral arrangements are not complete.

Cause of illness was listed as Ewings Sarcoma Cancer.
