Miss Jennie Bahr, daughter of Mr and Mrs Peter Bahr, passed away Monday evening at the hospital in Ainsworth following an operation for tumor on July 30th. Miss Bahr has faithfully devoted the past several years to the caring of her parents, who are in poor health. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Baptist church with Miss Blanche Hartsock of Pine Camp officiating. Interment was made in the Mount Hope Cemetery. Following is the obituary.

Jennie Minnie Bahr was born near Pine Camp, Nebraska, July 12, 1896 and passed away at the Ainsworth hospital August 6, 1934 at the age of 38 years and 24 days. She resided near Pine Camp for twenty-four years after which she went to Denver where she worked at hospital work for one year. She then returned to the home place where she pent three years with her brothers. After spending a wile near Atkinson she came to her home at Springview to care for her mother where she resided until her illness.
Miss Bahr had been in failing health for several years but became much worse last May at which time she sought medical aid. An operation was performed but she had not the strength to recover.
Miss Bahr yielded her heart to the Lord in 1914 and has sought to live according to his word since that time. Her every thought was for others and her chief ambition to live for others.
She leaves to mourn her passing her mother and father; six sisters, Mrs Martin Muth and Mrs Harry Estes of Rifle, Colorado; Mrs Chas Simons of Norden, Mrs Merle Duble of Burton, Mrs Charles Sipson of Smithfield, Nebraska; and Alta Bahe of Burwell. Four brothers, Albert Bahr of Rifle, Colorado, Peter Bahr of Carlock, South Dakota, William and Ora Bahr of Pine Camp, besides other relatives and many friends. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
