Mrs. Edith Muth
PALISADE - Mrs. Edith Muth, 77, Palisade, died Sunday, August 31, 1958 at 7:15 a.m. in St. Mary's Hospital , Grand Junction, Colorado.
Mrs. Edith Fredricka Bahr Muth was born July 4, 1881, at Keya Paha County, Neb., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter C. Bahr. She was reared and educated in Nebraska.
She came to Rifle in 1906 and was married to Martin F. Muth in January, 1907. Mr. Muth died in Rifle in September 1929 and Mrs. Muth came to Palisade in 1933, where she resided since.
She was a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. F. M. (Louella) Morgan, Palisade, five sisters, Mrs. Nettie Simons, Norden, Neb.; Miss Alta Bahr, Scottsbluff, Neb.; Mrs. Lillie Estes, San Francisco, Calif. and Mrs. Doris Gibson, Longmont, Colo.; three brothers, William Bahr, DeWitt, Neb. Peter Bahr, Hot Springs, S. Dak. and Ora Bahr, Lawn Dale, Calif. and one grandson.
One daughter, Mrs. Lillie May Toomey, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Peltier Synder Funeral Home at Rifle By the Rev. Orin B. Duckworth. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Rifle.
McLean's Funeral Home in Palisade is in charge of arrangements.
