Funeral services for Emma Rebecca (Bahr) Dubel, age 75, a resident of the Rosebud Nursing Home at Gregory, and formerly of Burton, were help at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 17 at the Kotrba Funeral Home chapel with Rev. W. H. Rudnik in charge, assisted by Rev. Wayne James of Burton.
Pallbearers were Howard Thiede, Louis Kieneke, Edwin Thiede, Jack Snyder, Pete Graesser, and Edgar Nilson. Internment was made at the Jordan Vally cemetery at Burton.
Music was in charge by Mrs W.H. Rudnik, organist, Mrs Joan Thiede, pianist, and Orrin Thiede and Stanly Libolt, vocalists.
Mrs Dubel died Wednesday, May 14, at the Rosebud Nursing Home.
Emma Rebecca Bahr was born May 15, 1892, at Pine Camp Nebraska, the daughter of Pete and Christine Bahr.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Oscar (Alta) Broadbrooks of Colume S.D. and Mrs Richard (Avis) Kirsch of Burton, James Dubel of Brook Park, Minn.; four sisters, Mrs Charles Gipson of Longmont, Colo., Mrs Lillie Estes of Grand Junction, Colo., Alta Bahr of Bassett, and Mrs Charles Simons of Long Pine; one brother Ora Bahr of Lawndale, Calif., brother-in-law Rolland Dubel of Burton; six grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Merl J Dubel in 1952, her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
