S. Glenn Stoops, 73 of 7560 Anthony Highway, died Friday Nov 1, 1985 at 6:45 A. M. in his home. He had been seriously ill for the past four months.

Born September 1, 1912 in Waynesboro he was a son of the late Percy M. and Ida (Bonar) Stoops.

He and his wife Margaret Zimmerman Stoops were married Dec 25, 1937 in Hagerstown.

He was a member of the Waynesboro Fish and Game Associatinon, V. F. W. William Max McClaughlin Post No. 695, Waynesboro and the Waynesboro AARP Chapter 739.

In addition to his wife he is survived by five sisters; Mrs. Naomi Finafrock, Zullinger; Mrs. Arlene Blubaugh, Mrs. Irene Baughman and Mrs. Shirley Huntsberry, all of Waynesboro; Mrs. Frances Besecker, South Mountain; three brothers; Orville Stoops, Fayetteville; Eugene Stoops, Waynesboro, Carl Stoops, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Monday at 1 P. M. in the Snyder Funeral Home with the Rev. Lester Misner officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 P. M.
