Peter Meyer Verwolf, 83, passed away Sunday, June 22, at East Shoshone Hospital, Wallace, Idaho. He was born January 17, 1892, and married Selia VanDenBerg. They lived in South Dakota and Manhattan, Mont., before moving to the Sandpoint area in 1936. He spent his life farming and doing woods work. His wife preceded him in death November 10, 1965.

He is survived by one son, Anthony, Dover, Idaho; two daughters, Cornelia Murchison, Pinehurst, Ida., Joan Cramer, Sandpoint,; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers Henry and Nick, both of Manhattan, Mont., four sisters, Katrina VanDiest, Paramount, Cal., Bertha Weston, San Francisco, Jane DeBoer, So. Dakota and Elizabeth Randall of Selah, Wa., with numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 26, 1 p.m. at the Moon Chapel with Rev. Warren Pomeroy officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
