Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 13, at the Moon Chapel, the Rev. Fred Rarden officiating. Burial was at Pinecrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Verwolf was born May 13, 1894, in Pella, Iowa. She was married to Peter Verwolf in Armour, S.D., June 29, 1916. The couple came to Bonner County in 1937 and lived in the Sagle district for a time before moving to the Mountain View district where they had lived ever since.
Survivors include her husband, Peter, at the home; a son, Anthony, Dover; two daughters, Cornelia Murchison, Pinehurst, Idaho; and Joan Cramer, Missoula; six brothers, Cornelius VanDenBerg, Bison, S.D.; Arie VanDenBerg, Sandpoint; John VanDenBerg, Miller, S.D.; Jacob VanDenBerg, Cottage Grove, Minn.; Marion VanDenBerg, Highmore, S.D.; and Herman VanDenBerg, St. Lawrence, S.D.; seven sisters, Mrs. Cornelia Aabers, Des Moines, Iowa; Mrs. Minnie Wikle, Bison, S. D.; Nellie Plooster, Corsica, S. D.; Mrs. Ollie Sammons, Chula Vista, Calif.; Mrs. Jennie Verwolf, Manhattan, Mont.; Mrs. Lena Poelstra, of Ponderay; and Mrs. Corlena Wilson, Miller, S. D.
