Billie was born on June 6, 1915, in Corsica, South Dakota to Joseph and Elizabeth (Meyer) Verwolf, the youngest of 12 children. The family moved to Manhattan, Montana, when Billie was 6. She graduated from Manhattan High School in 1930. After high school Billie met George H. Randall. They were married on November 22, 1933 in Manhattan.
Billie and George moved to the Selah area in 1942. George drove log truck while Billie stayed at home raising her family and home farming. Billie loved growing things, animals, vegetables, or plants. George died in 1981, after which Billie returned to Montana, where she lived until 1993 when she returned to Yakima.
Besides growing things, Billie also enjoyed crocheting, reading, and was an avid baseball fan. She is very special to all her grandchildren, and always found good in people.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Billie is survived by 2 sons, Alvin J. Randall of Moses Lake and Marvin W. Randall of Auburn, WA; 2 daughters, Geraldine Nesmith of White Swan and Patricia Lounsbury of Naches; 11 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Shaw & Sons on Friday, December 1, from 12:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 2, at Shaw & Sons Chapel at 9:00 a.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Naches Fireman's Association, care of Shaw & Sons.
