John M. Hendershot, aged 53 years, of Pen Argyl, died at the White Haven Sanatorium on Saturday at 11:30 p.m. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Lottie, Pearl, Fay, Joyce and Raymond, all at home; Mrs. Charlene Rogers and Mrs. Alfred Ebner, of Easton; by two grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: William and Milton Hendershot of Wind Gap; Alfred Hendershot, Bethlehem; David Hendershot, Pen Argyl; Willard Hendershot, West Pan Argyl; Jonah Hendershot, Delabole; Mrs. Harry Branton, and Mrs. Alonzo Hulzer, of Pen Argyl, and Mrs. Ada Smith, of Easton. He was a member of Buffalo Lodge, No. 1, of Bangor.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., at his home on Jory Avenue, Pen Argyl in charge of Rev. R.W. Musselman, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, that place. Internment will be made in the Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl.
