The service for Mrs. Lena Pearl Jeffrey, 81, Town Creek, will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Town Creek, with the Revs. Edwin Maraton and Charles Richards officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Spry Funeral Home, Sheffield, directing.

The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.

She died Friday at Helen Keller Memorial Hospital, Sheffield.

She was a native of Lawrence County, the widow of Wash Austin Jeffrey and a member of First Baptist Church, Town Creek.

Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Reba Ann Grisham, Mrs. Ramona White, Mrs. Effie Jane Murphree; son, Charles Willard Jeffrey; sisters, Mrs. Evi Lee Lansdell, Mrs. Edith Grimes, Mrs. Udell Berryman; brothers, George Brackin, Buford Brackin, Otho Brackin, Harold Brackin; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, all of Town Creek.

Grandsons will serve as bearers.
