Times Daily - April 1, 1966

Henry Harrison Brackin, 92, Town Creek, died at Colbert County Hospital today at 2:40 a.m.

Funeral services will be held at Donald Baptist Church, Lawrence County, Saturday at 2 p.m. with T. W. Whatley and James Doss officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery with Mays-Brown Service directing.

Mr. Brackin was a lifelong resident of Lawrence County, a member of Donald Baptist Church, a retired farmer.

The body will remain at the funeral home until time for the service.

Survivors include four daughters Mrs. Lloyd Lansdell, Mrs. Austin Jeffreys, Mrs. Edith Gidens, Mrs. Lowe Berryman, all of Town Creek; Six sons, Joyce Brackin, Clayburn Brackin, Tom Brackin, Hubert Brackin, Otho Brackin, Harold Brackin, all of Town Creek; 38 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Vick, Oklahoma, Mrs. Emma Berry, of Town Creek.

Grandsons will serve as bearers.
