Mr. Brackin

Thomas Elbridge Brackin, 63, Town Creek, Rt. 1, died Sunday at ECM Hospital in Florence.

He had been employed by the State Highway Department.

Services were conducted today at 2:30 p.m. from Donald Baptist Church by Rev. Doug O'Brien and Rev. James Doss. Burial was in the church cemetery, Morrison-Elkins of Tuscumbia directing.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Myrtle Brackin, Town Creek, Rt. 1; three daughters, Mrs. Silas Dutton, Mrs. Willard Brannax, both of Moulton; Miss Mae Brackin, Town Creek; a son, Devon, Town Creek; four sisters, Mrs. L.L. Lansdell, Mrs. Austin Jeffreys, Mrs. Edith Givens, Mrs. Lowe Berryman, all of Town Creek; four brothers, George, Otho, Buford, and Herald, all of Town Creek; eight grandchildren.

Bearers will be George Brackin, Jr., Wayne Brackin, Doyd Brackin, David Berryman, Travis Dawson, Donald Jeffreys, Willard Jeffreys, and Don Mardis.
