D.C. Brackin

Mr. Dallas Clayburn Brackin, 63, of Rt. 3, Town Creek, died Wednesday morning at Colbert County Hospital.

He was a native of Lawrence County and a member of the Baptist Church.

Serivces will be held today at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Town Creek, T.W. Whatley and James Doss will officiate. Burial will follow in Donald Cemetery.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Nellie B. Brackin, Town Creek; one daughter, Mrs. Melba C. Mardis, Town Creek; two sons, Waymon Brackin, Rogersville, and William T. Brackin, Town Creek; four sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Lansdell, Mrs. Edith Givens, Mrs. Austin Jeffrey, Mrs. Lowe Berryman, all of Town Creek; five brothers, George, Tom, Buford, Otho, and Harold, all of Town Creek; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Carlton Brackin, Jack Manley, J.T. Tippett, Russell Tidwell, Doyd Brackin, and DeVon Brackin.
