Reid D. Rumbaugh, 80, of Mingo died of pneumonia Sunday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mingo United Methodist Church, of which he was a member.
Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery in Ira.Mr. Rumbaugh lived in Mingo all his life and retired from farming.
He is survived by his wife, Agness; a son, Carroll of Mingo; two brothers, George of Baxter and Paul of Mingo; three sisters, Bernadine Tinnermeier of Newton, Eva Morrison of Collins and Fern Richeson of Rhodes; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon today at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton, where the family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
