Born June 11, 1928, in Rush County, he was the son of Everett E. and Edith M. (Winkler) Lee.
On July 13, 1971, he married Karen A. (Kaster) Lee, and she survives.
Mr. Lee was a truck driver for more than 40 years, retiring in 1993 from Schilli Motor Lines in Remington.
He then became a rural motor carrier for the Indianapolis Star and Rushville Republican, delivering to the Henderson and Carthage areas.
He was a member of the Sexton Christian Church, the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
In addition to his wife, Rushville; survivors include a son, Thomas E. Lee, Knightstown; one daughter, Mrs. Tom (Patsy) Griffin, Manilla; three brothers, Lewis W. Lee, and Robert E. Lee, both of Rushville, and Larry W. Lee, Oakville; four sisters, Juanita Cleland, Manilla, Mrs. Orville (Marjorie) Dickson, Mildred Whittaker and Mrs. Ted (Betty) Eveland, all of Rushville; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Todd Funeral Home in Rushville.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ruth Starr officiating. Burial will be in Arlington East Hill Cemetery with military rites performed.
