Alice Saxon was the daughter of Alfred Saxon and Ruby E. Bales Saxon; her grandparents were Robert Saxon, Mary Lovejoy Saxon, Jesse Bales, and Sarah Crawford Bales. Alice married Russell E. Manlove and then Marshall Edward Lee.
"Alice M. Lee Rushville - Alice M. Lee, 74, 214 E. 2nd St., Rushville, died at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 1994, at Miller's Merry Manor in Rushville. Born April 15, 1919, in Fayette County, she was the daughter of Alfred Saxon and Ruby Bales, both of whom precede her in death. She had resided in Rushville since the 1960's and prior to that lived in the Fairview community for many years. She retired in 1981 from Brookside Corporation in McCordsville where she had been a bookkeeper for 12 years. She was the past Secretary/Treasurer for the American Legion Auxiliary in Rushville and was a member of the BPW. Survivors include one stepson ... of Deltona, Fla.; and one stepdaughter ... of Manilla. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville with Ruth Star officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Rush County. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home."

Gravesite Details
No marker found in cemetery; however, on 10-17-2011 a longtime Fairview resident who lives west of the cemetery confirmed that Alice Saxon was indeed buried in Fairview Cemetery, near her parents, in row 11 of the south section.
