Mrs. Delma Mae Burkhardt Richmond, age 90, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on April 29, l928 in Trimble County, Kentucky. She was the loving daughter of the late James Fredrick and Goldie Gill Brown Burkhardt. She was raised in Trimble County, Kentucky and moved to Madison in l995. On April 27, l945 she married Richard Valentine Richmond in Lexington, Indiana. This marriage was blessed with two daughters, Linda and Wanda, and one son Benjamin. Delma worked as an attendant at the Madison State Hospital for 29 years, retiring in l988. Since retiring she had been a caregiver to the elderly. She was a member of the Apostolic Bible Church in Hanover, Indiana now the Landmark Apostolic Church in Madison. She was a previous member of Carrollton Pentecostal Church and Madison Pentecostal Church. Delma enjoyed church functions, quilting and loved revivals. Delma died on Monday, October 1, 2018, at 7:36 a.m. at the Hanover Health & Rehab Center in Hanover, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY
Delma will be missed by her loving daughter, Linda Wynn of Hanover, Indiana; her grandchildren, Angel Fluhr (Bill), Melissa Smith (Greg), Kenny Ray Wynn (Crystal), Anthony Wayne Davis, Gretta Fay Herbst (Ron), Pamela McKay (Eric), Terry Morris (Keith), Jesse Vest, and Joshua Vest; 16-great grandchildren; 4-great great grandchildren; her brothers, Larry Burkhardt and his wife, Barbara of Milton, Kentucky, Billy Burkhardt and his wife, Mabel of Carrollton, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, James Frederick Burkhardt, died November 13, 1992, her mother, Goldie Brown Burkhardt, died April 19, 1995, her sisters, Evelyn June Mahoney, died 2009; Neola Doris Burkhardt, died 1941; Myrtle Purvis died June 2, 2017, her brothers, Norman Douglas Burkhardt, died January 25, 2011; Phillip Darrell Burkhardt died 2003; Forrest Gayle Burkhardt, died 2007; and James Dale Burkhardt, died 1931; David Lee Burkhardt, died August 1, 2017; her son, Benjamin Floyd Richmond, died November 27, 1950, her daughter, Wanda Fay Richmond Gamble Vest, died July 12, 2018, her granddaughter, Kimberly Sue Newman, her grandson, Isaiah Robert Morris, died November 17, 2010, her sons in law, Kenneth H. Wynn, died August 6, 2003, Robert Eugene Vest, died June 15, 1995.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., by Pastor Darren Burton at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Kentucky.

VISITATION
Friends may visit Friday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.

MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS
Memorial contributions may be made to the Landmark Apostolic Church. Cards are available at the funeral homes.
