Funeral services for Ovid Eugene Galbreath, 31, of Ailey, Route One, in Montgomery County, were held at the Galbreath Cemetery, Tuesday morning, January 14th at ten o'clock, with S.J.D. Hall, officiating. Interment was in the family cemetery. Mr. Galbreath died at a Savannah hospital on Wednesday of last week from injuries received when a board from a sawmill struck him. He had been employed at the mill for sometime as a lumber checker.

The deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Galbreath, of the same community in Montgomery County, who survive him. Other survivors are his wife and one son, Eugene Galbreath, Jr. He has eight brothers and two sisters. The brothers are Robert of Hazlehurst, Geo, Emmett, William, Dan and Herbert, of Ailey, Route 1, Hiram, of Camp Stewart, and John H. of San Francisco, Calif. Mrs. Herman G. Burns of Augusta and Miss Wilma Galbreath of Milledgeville, are sisters.
