He was the son of the late George Washington and Ailey McGill Galbreath. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Burns Galbreath; one daughter, Mrs. Alicia Harrison; three sons, Donald Keith Galbreath, Vidalia, Hiram Galbreath, Jr., Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Bryan Galbreath of Ailey, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Carey, Augusta, Mrs. Wilma Jones, Jacksonville, Fla.; 7 brothers, Robert L., George W. Jr., John H., William T., and Herbert Galbreath, all of Ailey, Emmett Galbreath, Vidalia, Ga., Daniel Galbreath, Boron, California; 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Larry Braddy, Drexel Braddy, Dale Galbreath, Mike Galbreath, Randy Sumner, and Nathan Burns. Honorary pallbearers were Deacons of the New Corinth Baptist Church.
