Mr. Posey was a native of Madison County and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Walker Posey; two sons, Roger Posey and Eddie Dean Posey, both of the Lincoln community; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Ashworth and Miss Stacey Posey of the Lincoln community, and two brothers, Ted Posey of Fayetteville and Albert Posey of Flintville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Heart Association.

A. C. Posey, a farmer of the Lincoln community, died last Friday in the Huntsville Hospital following a long illness. He was 63 years old.
Services were Sunday afternoon in the Chapel of Gallant Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Benson and the Rev. Don Schultz officiating. Burial was in the Bevill's Chapel Cemetery in Madison County, Ala.
