Funeral services were conducted February 23 at Bevills Chapel Baptist Church for Albert Posey of Manley Road, Hazel Green, Ala., who died Thursday, February 21, 1991, in Humana Hospital, Huntsville, Ala.
The Rev. Benny Berry and James Ashworth officiated. Burial was in Bevills Chapel Cemetery. Gallant Funeral Home in Hazel Green, Ala., was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Posey was a native of Madison County, Ala., son of the late William Raymond and Eliza Hill Posey. He was a retired farmer and carpenter and a member of Bevills Chapel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jessie Pierce Posey of Hazel Green; two daughters, Helen V. Mayes of Huntsville and Jean Preston of Hazel Green; two sisters, Ella Ashworth of Gurley, Ala., and Stacy Posey of Lincoln County; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

HAZEL GREEN – Albert Posey, 80, of 423 Manley Road, Hazel Green, died Thursday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 3:30 at Bevill Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Benny Berry and James Ashworth officiating.
Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home in Hazel Green in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Posey; two daughters, Helen Mayes of Huntsville and Jean Preston of Hazel Green; two sisters, Ella Ashworth of Gurley and Stacy Posey of Tennessee; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
