Hazel Green Woman Buried at State Line Cemetery
FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn., May 17 – Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza Hill Posey, 59, who died Tuesday at her home near Hazel Green, were conducted this afternoon at the State Line Missionary Baptist Church, of which she was a member, by the Rev. J. D. Counts of Flintville. Burial was at State Line Cemetery.
Her husband, William R. Posey, died 15 years ago.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Lonnie Honey, Mrs. Ella Ashworth, both of Huntsville, Ala.; Misses Stacey and Esther Posey, of Hazel Green; six sons, Floyd, Albert, A.C., Robbie, Thurman and Clifford Posey of Hazel Green; two sisters, Mrs. C. C. Henderson, Birmingham, Ala., and Mrs. George Mason, Hazel Green, Ala.; two brothers, Gray and Bryson Hill.
