David Carrol Posey, 82, of 816 Lee Drive, died Friday at a local hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Laughlin-Service Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Sam Wolfe will officiate.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Verna Posey, Huntsville; two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Lindsey, Mrs. Lorene McPeters, both of Huntsville; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Ashworth, Miss Stacey Posey, both of Fayetteville, Tenn.; three brothers, A. C. Posey, Ted Posey, both of Fayetteville, Tenn.; Albert Posey, Flintville, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Campbell, James Ashworth, M. J. Posey, Donald Boles, Roger Posey and Bobby Slayton.
