Rites Tomorrow for T.W. Posey
Funeral services for Thurman Wilson Posey, 40, of Huntsville,will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Stateline Methodist Church with the Revs. Sandford Worsham and Dewey Cantrell officiating.
Burial will be in State Line Cemetery.
Mr. Posey, the son of the late William and Eliza Hill Posey, died last night at a Decatur Hospital, where he has been a patient for nearly two years.
He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Sidney Ashworth of Lincoln County, and Mrs. J. D. Honey and Mrs. Stacey Miller, both of Madison County; three brothers, Ted Posey of Fayetteville, Tenn., and A. C. and Albert Posey, both of Madison County; one half-brother, Dave Posey of Madison County; two half-sisters, Mrs. Joe Stephens and Miss Anna Posey, both of Madison County; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will be the nephews, James Ashworth, Ernest Ashworth, Raymond Posey, Bill Posey, Charles Jones and William Robinson.
Higgins Funeral Home of Fayetteville will direct funeral arrangements.

Funeral Rites Conducted Today At State Line For Thurman Wilson Posey
Thurman Wilson Posey, 40, died Tuesday in a Decatur, Ala., hospital after a lingering illness.
Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the State Line Methodist Church, with the Rev. D. D. Cantrell and Sanford Worsham officiating. Burial was in the State Line Cemetery.
Mr. Posey was the son of the late William and Eliza Hill Posey, and was a native of Madison County, Ala.
He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Sidney Ashworth of Lincoln County, Mrs. J D. Honey and Mrs. Stacey Mill of Madison County; three brothers, Ted Posey of Fayetteville, A. C. Posey and Albert Posey of Madison County; two half-sisters, Mrs. Joe Stephens and Miss Anna Posey, both of Madison County.
