FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. – A funeral for Mrs. Mary Lou Stephens, 75, of Concord, Tenn. who died Friday in Medical Center Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Concord Church, the Rev. James Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the State Line Cemetery, Gallant Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Stephens was a native of Madison County, Ala., and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ernie Joe Stephens, of Concord; a daughter, Mrs. Donald Boles of Huntsville; two sons, Milton J. Stephens of Huntsville, and Ernie Stephens of Hazel Green; a sister, Miss Anna Posey, of Hazel Green, two half-sisters, Miss Stacey Posey and Mrs. Ella Ashworth, both of Lincoln County, Tenn.; a brother, Dave Posey of Huntsville; three half-brothers, Ted Posey of Fayetteville, Tenn., A. C. Posey of Madison County, Albert Posey of Flintville, Tenn.; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Campbell, Raymon Campbell, James Ashworth, J. B. Slayton, Rayford Campbell, and Roger Posey.
The body will be at Gallant Funeral Home until noon Sunday, and then will be taken to the church to lie in state before the funeral.
