Rites Slated Tomorrow At State Line Church; Rev. Whitt to Officiate
Robert L. Posey, 47, died this morning after a long illness at his residence, Route 3, Huntsville.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 from the State Line Methodist church, with The Rev. Jim Eddie Whitt officiating. Burial, directed by Laughlin-Services will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Lorene Posey; four sons, Billy Posey, Foster Ray Posey, and Ralph Posey, all of Route 3, and W. B. Posey, a soldier stationed in Germany; four brothers, Albert Posey of Flintville, Tenn., A. C. Posey and Ted Posey, both of Fayetteville, Tenn.; and three sisters, Mrs. J. D. Honey of Huntsville, Mrs. Ella Ashworth of Lincoln, Tenn., and Mrs. Stacey Miller of Georgia.
Pallbearers will be Allen Brazier, Altha D. Gregory, Alva Lee Gregory, Curtis Bolen, James Ashworth and J. D. Honey.
